POQUOSON MUSEUM - BARN REBUILD PROJECT

Museum members of the Buildings & Grounds Committee started work on April 12 on laying out the footing for building the new barn. This is the second phase of the project and is a vital step in the building process. The next step in this process will be to dig the trench for the footing followed by pouring the concrete. The new barn follows the foot print of the original barn, determined by taking pier and foundation measurements after the fire and reviewing photo's of the original barn prior to the fire.
