Kiwanis Club president Dave Baker presented a $500 check to the Poquoson Museum past president Mrs. Tommie Turner at a recent club meeting. John V. Quarstein, historian and author, on the right, was the principle speaker at the club meeting. John spoke to the club members about the log canoe and Bodine photographic exhibits now on display at the Poquoson Museum. John is also the consultant for the museum.

The generous gift will be used by the museum to promote the historical and cultural past of poquoson.

The Poquoson Museum membership wishes to thank the Kiwanis Club for their generous gift and continued strong support for the museum.
